Juliet Vaughn is an Associate at Redwood Public Law and provides legal and strategic advice to the firm’s public agency and nonprofit clients. Juliet advises clients in multiple areas of law including contract drafting, conflicts of interest, the Brown Act, planning and zoning law, policy drafting, early claims resolution and more. She currently serves as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of San Leandro.

Juliet is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, School of Law. During her time in law school, Juliet held internships with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Summer Honors Program and the Stockton City Attorney’s Office. It was through her time interning in Stockton that Juliet developed an interest for working at the local government level. Juliet also served as an Executive Editor for Environs, UC Davis Law’s Environmental Law and Policy Journal, and competed nationally in an environmental law moot court competition. In 2019, Juliet graduated from UC Davis with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning. While completing her undergraduate degree, Juliet worked for CalRecycle, helping to draft state regulations for organic waste collection. Juliet was born and raised in Modesto, California.
