Isabell Thevessen

Isabell Thevessen is an Associate at Redwood Public Law and provides advice and counsel to cities, counties and special districts of all types throughout the state.

Isabell graduated with an LL.M. degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law) in 2024. She was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Administrative Law, Legal Research & Writing (LLM), and Legal Ethics: Law & Process.

A native of Germany, Isabell holds a law degree from the University of Potsdam in Germany where she specialized in public law. While in Potsdam, Isabell worked as a teaching assistant for a course on constitutional rights, and as a research assistant for an administrative and environmental law professor.
